Welcome to Montpellier Wine Bar

The Montpellier Wine Bar & Restaurant was established in 1977 and has become the place to be seen in Cheltenham. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham's Montpellier area is renowned for its continental atmosphere, boutique shops, cafés and bars.

One of the area's only non-smoking establishments, it is perfect for a relaxed lunch, afternoon tea, dinner with friends or a really 'jumping' night out. Pavement tables and chairs are available for those sunny Cotswold afternoons.

What time do you open?

We are open seven days a week. Breakfast is served 10:00–11:30am, the daytime and bar menu runs 12:00–10pm, and the a la carte menu is available 12:00–3:00pm and 6:00–10pm.

Is there parking nearby?

Montpellier is a popular Regency district of Cheltenham. There are public car parks within a short walk – see Find Us for details and directions.

Can you cater for large parties?

Yes – we cater for larger parties, private functions and business bookings, including a pitch-side marquee during the Cheltenham Cricket Festival. Visit our Private Hire page to enquire.
