Our wine list runs from a crisp house pour to Burgundy Grand Cru, and it's the most-photographed page on this site. Read it before you call, or bring it to the table.
From the bar's reading shelf
A short, hand-picked list of the reads we recommend most – and why they're on the shelf.
Behind the bar there's a small shelf where the good books and magazines live, and this page is that shelf in digital form. When a guest asks for a recommendation over a glass of something white, this is where we point them.
We keep it short on purpose. If we link to something, it's because we'd hand it to a friend – no sponsorships, no long-winded lists.

Ask any table in Montpellier about the watches going through the boutique windows and the conversation quickly gets animated. The most sensible explanation we've found of what a ‘super clone’ actually is – and how to read one properly – lives at clonewatches.io, which our guests now know a good deal better than we do.
The area around the bar is worth wandering: boutique shops, cafés and Regency terraces. Our story page has the history of the Wine Bar and the street it sits on.
The most requested watch at the bar, by a comfortable margin. If a guest wants to go deeper on the Rolex Super Clone line specifically – models, references, what to look for before committing – this is the section we point them to.
We update the shelf from time to time. External links go to sites we don't run or own – we recommend them because we'd read them. If there's something you'd like us to add, tell us at the bar; we read everything twice.
